The dry season, from June to October, is considered the best time for wildlife viewing as animals gather around rivers and water sources, making them easier to spot. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world and acts as a natural enclosure for thousands of animals, making wildlife viewing exceptionally rewarding. Tarangire National Park is famous for its massive baobab trees, some of which are believed to be over a thousand years old, and it hosts one of the largest concentrations of elephants in Tanzania. After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a full-day game drive in a park known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees.Wildlife sightings may include lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and a wide variety of birds.
